A simple mathematical model of mono-species forest with two age classes which takes into account seed production and dispersal is presented in the paper. This reaction -diffusion type model is then reduced by means of an asymptotic procedure to a lower dimensional reaction -cross-diffusion model. Th

โฆ Synopsis
This paper develops a market-implied credit score as a complement to internal and agency ratings. In its general form, the implied score is a multidimensional process whose passage through regions in space signals di erent credit events. The model o ers analytical tractability and the exibility to handle complex contract structures including, for example, claims with payo s that are dependent on multiple credit events and multiple contracting parties. A numerical example on pricing Republic of Argentina bonds and credit derivatives tests the feasibility of the model. The study shows how to overcome several practical challenges of using structural models.

## Abstract The relative recurrence risk ratio ฮป~__R__~ (and particularly the sibling recurrence risk ratio, ฮป~__S__~ ) is often of interest to those wanting to quantify the genetic contribution towards risk of disease or to discriminate between different genetic models. However, estimating ฮป~__R__
Contemporary models of interdisciplinary information transfer treat disciplines as such sharply bounded groups that boundary-crossing publication (contributions to disciplinary literatures authored by researchers from other disciplines) should be very difficult, if not impossible. Yet boundary-cross
