Figure 4 Measured two-tone intermodulation distortion of the link in Figure 1. The measured third-order intercept point is 16 dBm. The total received photocurrent was 50 mA. The two input tones were at 135 and 171 MHz providing complementary outputs to allow balanced photodetection techniques to be used for noise cancellation.
