โฆ Synopsis
control technology. A novel approach of utilizing biomass as a means of NO, control in the EER's Advanced Reburning (AR) technologies has been developed. EER is developing novel concepts to improve the basic reburning process to NO, control over 90%. The AR process, a synergistic combination of basic reburning and nitrogen-agent injection, achieved 85% NO reduction in pilot-scale experiments. Further improvements incorporate addition of alkali additives, enhancing the NO, control from nitrogenagent injection and injection of the nitrogen-agent in the reburning zone. This work-in-progress paper describes the concept of using biomass as the reburning fuel in the AR technologies.
