Capacitance transducer for measurement of concentration of coal powder Gui, K. et al. Chuangan Jishu Xuebao, 1996, 9, (4), 49-53. (In Chinese) An error compensation mixing oscillatory circuit was used to manufacture a capacitance transducer for measuring the concentration of coal powder in the transport pipe of boiler. The capacitor plates of the transducer were mounted on the outside of pipe and did not affect the gas-solid flows. The readings were proportional to the total quantity of coal powder throughout the whole cross section of pipe and the errors caused by multi-metering were eliminated.
