✦ Synopsis

An introduction to the equipments and process flow charts for the recovery of ammonia from coke oven gas, using spraying saturator. The ammonia content at the exit of gas was 530 mg/m

The advantages of this process include a low pressure drop, low power consumption, and prolonged running period of equipments compared with the traditional bubbling saturator. 96lO1660 Release and distribution of sulfur and nitrogen during the devolatillzatlon of coals and Kolubara coal Radovanovic, M. R. et al. Hem. Ind., 1997, 51, (3), 101-105. (In Serbian) The contribution of SO, and NO. to air pollution was discussed, targeting the basic sulfur and nitrogen forms in coals and coal volatiles. The sulfur and nitrogen distribution in volatiles and semi-cokes after devolatilization in a fluidized-bed reactor for 15 coals in a Nz atmosphere were determined. Appropriate analysis relationships were derived. The amount and release of HzS from Kolubara coals under fluidized-bed conditions, as well as the NH3 and HCN contents under fixed-bed conditions in Nz and He atmosphere were determined and discussed.
