In the framework of the interacting boson model the three transitional regions (rotationalvibrational, rotational-Ξ³ -unstable and, vibrational-Ξ³ -unstable transitions) are reanalyzed. A new kind of plot is presented for studying phase transitions in finite systems such as atomic nuclei. The importan

β¦ Synopsis
The first approximation of the theory in the powers of parameters ro]g and ~r0 is considered. It corresponds mainly to the more exact formulation of the boundary condition which is imposed on the wave function.
The equations of this approximation are formulated and the correction of the order of r0 to the zero-order scattering amplitude is evaluated.
