โœฆ Synopsis

The article gives information on studies of pulverized natural pyrite and wet-and dry-method synthetic iron sulfide\ as coal liquefaction catalysts. Liquefaction tests were conducted on Tanito Harum coal in the process supporting unit. The dry-method iron sulfide gave a higher yield of oil. The oil yield at 46.5' C was 61.8 wt?/ (dry ash-free coal hacis), equivalent to 4.65 bhl/t coal. 97iOOl85 Coal liquefaction test at 1 tonlday PDU Kawabata, M. c'f N/., Srkircrn &@I Ku;,si Hqpw Ro,r/~r,r~vhr. 1903, 30. 103%IYh. (In Japanese) In this study liquefaction tests were conducted on Wyoming coal in a I ton! day process development unit and the effect of liquefaction conditions on the product yield reviewed. From the results. a reaction mechanism wa\ considered. and a reaction model was constructed. It was established that the conditions for a maximum oil yield were a combination of the maximum operating conditions within the range of the process development unit operating conditions. At these conditions. the liquefied oil yield was in good agrt!ement with the calculated value. 97100186 Coal liquefaction using Fe-loaded coal as catalyst.
