โฆ Synopsis
Ash and deposits were carried out for Alaska subbituminous coal in a drop tube furnace (DTF) and the effects of their composition on fusion were compared with those of the ashes prepared from a standard ASTM ashing procedure. The ASTM ash induded alumina, silica, mullite, and Ca cornpounds as crystalline phases, whereas the DTF ash includes spherical drops with K, Fe, and Ca condensed on the surface.
