✦ Synopsis
The title compound, C 16 H 11 N 3 , was obtained by the reaction of 9-bromoanthracene with 1,2,4-triazole in dimethylformamide. The molecule is not planar; the triazole ring makes a dihedral angle of 68.7 (4) with the anthracene plane.
