TRANSMUTATION 1155

156 keV ~'s. If the four levels are the (0, 1, 2, 3--) quartet, spins of 0 and 3 (or 3 and 0) cannot be assigned to the ground and first excited states. The most probable assignment is 2, O, 1,3 ; 2, 0, 3, 1 and 2, 3, 0, 1 are also possible, p --~ coincidence experiments are under way to confirm these findings.
