I teach a Language Arts Lab class to high school students with a 6th-8th grade reading level. The questions are better suited for 10th or even 11th graders. The title should be changed. My regular ninth grade students--who are a pretty bright group-- would have difficulty with these questions.

โฆ Synopsis
Through a series of reading comprehension problems, this book helps readers understand and analyze everything from technical writing, charts, and graphs to poetry and literature. Beginning with the basics - vocabulary questions that test the reader's skill in finding definitions and using context clues - the book progresses into analogy questions that help readers develop their ability to compare and contrast words. The book is completed by short, high-interest reading passages, where readers must identify details and facts, choose the main idea, make inferences, and interpret the text.
