✦ Synopsis

In the title compound, C 18 H 17 N 3 O 2 Se, the selenadiazole ring makes dihedral angles of 37.71 (8) and 66.79 (6) with the adjacent phenyl ring and the aromatic ring of the phenylpropyl group, respectively. The molecular structure is stabilized by weak intramolecular C-HÁ Á ÁSe interactions and the crystal packing is stabilized by a weak C-HÁ Á Á interaction.
