✦ Synopsis
The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C 22 H 14 O 6 Á-2C 5 H 5 N, contains one 4,6-dibenzoylisophthalic acid (DBIA) and two pyridine molecules. The dihedral angles between the terminal phenyl rings and the central benzene ring are 73.3 (2) and 105.0 (3) . In the crystal structure, there is an intramolecular C-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bond; intermolecular O-HÁ Á ÁN and C-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds link the molecules to form a three-dimensional framework.
