✦ Synopsis
A mathematical model has been developed for s?mulation of sulphur poisoning in the steamreforming process, where sulphur acts as a poison by covering the active Ni-surface-The reversible adsorption of sulphur 1s here described by a Langmulr isotherm. The operating condo tions and the transport properties vary with axial distance, but lt is assumed that they are independent of time. The results are in fal r agreement wl th the scarce avail able data and in good agreement with industnal experience-KEYWORDS Mathematical model for sulphur poisoning of steam tion of transient profiles, sul phur adsorption by measurements
