✦ Synopsis
The title compound, C 12 H 18 N 2 O 3 , was prepared by the reaction between p-methoxybenzaldehyde and propionylhydrazine. With the exception of the two methyl groups of the i Pr and the H atoms of the OMe group, the molecule is essentially planar. The crystal structure is stabilized by N-HÁ Á ÁO, O-HÁ Á ÁO and O-HÁ Á ÁN hydrogen bonds.
