✦ Synopsis

In the crystal structure of the title compound, C 19 H 19 N 3 O 3 , the benzene ring substituted by hydroxy and methoxy groups is essentially coplanar with the pyrazoline ring [dihedral angle = 12.9 (2) ], whereas the phenyl ring bonded directly to the pyrazoline ring forms a dihedral angle of 50.4 (3) .

In the title Schiff base compound, C~16~H~15~N~3~OS, there are two intramolecular hydrogen bonds and one intermolecular hydrogen bond. The latter results in a one-dimensional chain in the crystal structure.
