obtained for the thermally induced decomposition of ethylene on tungsten. Following saturation at room temperature, the TCS curve almost coincides with the TDS curve for Hz. When ethylene and oxygen are coadsorbed the decomposition rate is significantly lower. The implications for the conversion mechanism are discussed briefly.
