✦ Synopsis
The crystal structure of the title compound, C 24 H 27 NO 4 , reveals that there are two roughly identical molecules in the asymmetric unit. In both acridine moieties, the central pyridine rings are slightly distorted and adopt a boat conformation, whereas the two outer six-membered rings display half-chair conformations. Each molecule is linked through NÐHÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds to symmetry-related molecules, forming in®nite chains.
