✦ Synopsis
In all the reactions the ylides (31 were obtained from the optically pure phosphonium salts. Since the compounds (5b)-(5e ) have not yet been obtained in optically pure form, and since attempts to resolve them into the pure enantiomers have so far been unsuccessful, no optical yield can be given for their preparation.
