## Abstract The synthesis of ^14^C‐desmethylene aldrin (I) from ^14^C‐Ul‐hexachloro cyclopentadiene and cyclohexa‐l,4‐diene via a Diels‐Alder reaction and its conversion to desmethylene dieldrin (II) and desmethylene cis (III) and trans (IV)‐dihydrodiols are described.
