✦ Synopsis
Significant changes in decrement rate have occurred since the last creation of the association's decrement tables for the private occupational disability insurance. Thus, the working party on "Biometrical Base of Calculation' was asked by the German Actuary Association to create new decrement tables for disability, recovery and death of disabled lives. The present paper describes the creation of the above mentioned tables. Strong emphasis has been laid upon the mathematical methods put to use to graduate crude decrement data and to calculate a statistical safety margin and also the impact of profession of the disability risk. Furthermore, influences of the new tables are briefly discussed by comparing present-values, yearly, net premiums, and reserves.
