✦ Synopsis

The title compound, C 10 H 8 Cl 10 , is a highly chlorinated Toxaphene congener with the trivial name 'Parlar 69'. X-ray crystallographic analysis reveals a structure different from that reported previously on the basis of spectroscopic characterization.
