✦ Synopsis

The syntheses of new mnsynmetrical donors of the lTF family having half moiety of bis(ethylenedithio)-lTF (BEDT-lTF) and half moiety of lTF substituted with one (or two) hydroxymethyl group(s) are described. Their good n-donating ability is demonstrated by cyclic voltammetry.
