In the title compound, C 14 H 12 O 2 , the dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 60.02 (4) . The crystal structure is stabilized by intramolecular O-HÁ Á ÁO and intermolecular C-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds.
