The structure of the title compound, C~8~H~7~Cl~2~NO, resembles those of __N__-(4-chlorophenyl)acetamide, __N__-2-chloro-(4-methylphenyl)acetamide, __N__-2-chloro-(4-nitrophenyl)acetamide and other related amides, with similar bond parameters. Molecules are linked into chains through N—H...O hydroge
