β¦ Synopsis
Geometric parameters of the title compound, C 9 H 10 O 3 , are in the usual ranges. The dioxolane ring adopts an envelope conformation with one of the ring O atoms deviating by 0.477 (4) A Λfrom the plane of the remaining four atoms [C-O-C-C torsion angle = Γ0.6 (3) ]. The molecules are linked by an O-HΓ Γ ΓO hydrogen bond, forming zigzag chains running along the a axis.
