In the title compound, C 17 H 21 NO 2 , there are two chiral C atoms. There are two intramolecular hydrogen bonds and one intermolecular hydrogen bond. The latter intermolecular hydrogen bond links the molecules in a helical fashion along the b-axis direction.
In the title molecule, C 26 H 24 N 4 O 4 , the ethylcarboxylate plane forms a dihedral angle of 6.23 (7) with the indole ring system. In the crystal structure, pairs of molecules are linked into centrosymmetric dimers by stronginteractions. The dimers are stacked along the b axis.
In the title compound, C~4~H~12~N^+^·C~11~H~12~Cl~2~O~6~P^−^·C~3~H~6~O, all bond lengths and angles are normal. Three ammonium H atoms participate in N—H...O hydrogen bonds, which stabilize the crystal packing along with weak intermolecular C—H...O interactions.
