โฆ Synopsis
Because of the considerable benefits and advantages of electronic submission over traditional methods, FEMS introduced online submission and peer review in 2002. Now in 2003 FEMS offers Manuscript Centralยฎ, by ScholarOne, for her complete set of journals, including the rapid turnaround journal FEMS Microbiology Letters.
Fast publication
The web-based manuscript submission, reviewing and tracking system ensures fast publication by greatly reducing the time needed for processing and peer reviewing manuscripts.
Easy to use
Straightforward, intuitive online forms guide you through the submission process after simple online registration for first time users. Full instructions and Notes to Authors are available through the submission interface http://fems.manuscriptcentral.com
Track your paper
Authors will also be able to see how their paper is progressing in the system by visiting the Submitting Author Center to which they submitted their manuscript or after acceptance the Author Gateway run by Elsevier Science. Every author will have an individual Submitting Author Center that will hold information on all the papers they submit to all FEMS journals.
What kind of files should I submit?
MS Word with embedded figures are preferred, but PDF or RTF files are acceptable for first submission.
