## Abstract In 1,1′‐bis(substituted‐phenyl)ferrocenes the protons of the second cyclopentadienyl (Cp) group are influenced by the ring current effect of the Ph group bonded to the first Cp group. The conformations of these derivatives are discussed with respect to the anisotropy of the Ph groups. T

## Abstract The high resolution proton magnetic resonance spectra of a series of cyclic inorganic esters and analogous 1,3‐dioxans have been analysed. The coupling constants and chemical shifts involved indicate that most of the compounds exist preferentially in a chair form.
