✦ Synopsis

4OOMHz IH-NMR spectra of isotactic, atactic and epimerized poly(fl,fl-dideuterio-2vinylpyridine)s in D2SO 4 and CDCI 3 solution were measured, n-Ad stereosequence distributions derived from Monte Carlo simulations of the epimerization process were used to make assignments for the methine proton resonances. Simulated spectra based on these assignments and on the Monte Carlo results were in reasonably good agreement with experimental spectra.
