## Abstract ^13^C NMR chemical shifts and ^13^C–^19^F and ^13^C–^1^H coupling constants are reported for 103 halocarbons. Methods used for analyzing complex spectra (e.g. simultaneous ^1^H and ^19^F broadband decoupling, 2D INADEQUATE/FRED, HMQC, 35,37Cl isotope effects) are briefly illustrated. Lo

✦ Synopsis
Abstract
^19^F NMR chemical shifts and coupling constants are reported for 215 compounds. For 77 of these compounds, ^1^H NMR spectral data are also given. Long‐range couplings, including ^8^J(F,F) and ^5^J(F,H), are reported. The complexity of halocarbon spectra owing to the presence of rotational isomers, asymmetric centers, long‐range couplings, and chlorine isotope effects are illustrated, and the methods used for analyzing such complex spectra are briefly discussed. The complete assignment of the 1H, 13C and 19F NMR spectra of eight Ñuoro-substituted 3H-naphthopyrans was achieved by the concerted application of homonuclear (1HÈ1H) and heteronuclear (13CÈ1H and 19FÈ1H) correlations.
## Abstract The ^1^H and ^19^F NMR spectra of fluorobenzene and 1,2‐difluorobenzene were measured in several pure solvents and in binary solvent mixtures to study the solvent dependence of ^1^H^19^F and ^19^F^19^F coupling constants. The solvents are distinctly divided into two groups on the basi
