THIS is a well-produced, convenient, pocket-sized book with clear print and numerous illustrations which covers the whole field of obstetrics and gynaecology in just under 800 pages. It provides a great deal of information about many topics in a rather superficial fashion yet gives no references to the literature or suggestions for further reading.
