A população paulista vê em suas cidades ruas e avenidas que remetem aos episódios de 1932. Que cidade paulista não possui uma rua 23 de maio ou uma avenida 9 de julho? Há alguns anos, o dia 9 de julho voltou a ser feriado em São Paulo. O que teria acontecido de tão importante em nosso Estado naquele período?Pretendemos aqui neste livro apresentar a Revolução Constitucionalista, evidenciando suas causas, bem como o desdobrar dos seus acontecimentos. As diferentes visões sobre o movimento também serão abordadas.Espero que com a leitura deste livro, o leitor tenha mais elementos para analisar por que comemoramos o 9 de julho em São Paulo.
