To this end each of the angles in the relations (1) or ( ) is replaced by the sum of a provisional value and a correction i.e. the relations (1) or ( ) are differentiated according to the angles which occur in them. Thus it will in general be sufficient when determining the adjusted values for the X,Y-coordinates to carry out two operations of the computing procedure, viz. one operation for computing provisional values and one for computing the corrections of these values.
It will easily be understood that the relations (1) as well as the relations (8) can, if necessary, be used for computing the X,Y-coordinates of a triangulation net or a rhomboid chain.
However, we want to point out, that the relations (8) are moreover suitable for computing a polygon or a polygon net. As such, the relations (8) are, for practical use, to be preferred to relations (1).
