โœฆ Synopsis

Abstracts 145 land A2401, at two stages of pyrolysis, has been solventfractionated by successive Soxhlet extractions with solvents such as hexane, cyclohexane, toluene, tetrahydrofuran, and pyridine. The fractions have been coked at room pressure and at 5OOOpsi and evaluated in terms of their mesophase microstructures.

One of the reasons why pitch extraction from speech has been difficult is that pitch is nonstationary and changes over a wide range. In most of the conventional methods, it is assumed that speech remains stationary in an analysis frame of fixed width. This essentially produces an extraction error. I

Cokes from the carbonization of a petroleum pitch possess an optical texture containing anisotropic spherules with an unusual structure. These spherules (10 to 20 pm diameter) were found to be present in the original pitch and could be removed as a quinoline-insoluble fraction. This suggests that th

The single greatest influence on the mesophase microstructure is the chemical composition of the organic precursor. The effects of oxygen content and structural parameters of precursors from solvent fractions of coal liquefaction products on the microstructure and pyrolysis yields were determined. T
