The exposure-excretion relationship to carbon disulfide (CS 2 ) vapor in 407 exposed workers was studied during the second half of the working week. Carbon disulfide concentrations were also determined in 50 nonexposed subjects. The geometric mean value for CS 2 in urine samples from the latter was:

The changes of salt permeability coefficients, B-values, with time were investigated on cellulose triacetate hollow fiber RO membranes having oxidation and hydrolysis. The increasing rate constants of B-values and K-values were obtained, and the prediction formula on K-values was derived. Calculated
Multiple-beam Fizeau fringes were used for studying the effect of the annealing process on the refractive indices and birefringence of natural silk fibers (best yellow Italian silk, Ford & Co. Ltd). Silk fibers were annealed at a constant time of 2 h with different annealing temperatures ranging fro
Surface free energy components for calcium carbonate were determined using a thin-layer wicking technique based on Washburn's equation. It was found that the Lifshitz-van der Waals interaction for this solid, \(\gamma \mathrm{s}^{\mathrm{Lw}}\), is \(48.0 \mathrm{~mJ} / \mathrm{m}^{2}\), and the aci
