✦ Synopsis
In the title estrane derivative, C 20 H 23 BrO 2 , the five-membered ring adopts a conformation that is intermediate between twist and envelope. The C atom of the formyl group and the bromo function are in close proximity. Close intermolecular BrÁ Á ÁBr and BrÁ Á ÁC contacts are observed in the crystal structure.
