โœฆ Synopsis

Systematical studies of residual lamellar compounds (HISO and Br,) on soft carbons heat treated at various temperatures have been done. They confirm that those carbons contain elementary layers of various types [Carbon 1, 471 (1964)]. F, layers retain the whole HSO,-ions, F; retain the half amount. On the contrary F; retain the total amount of Br, inserted. 138. Wettability of graphite by barium fluoride-calcium fluoride eutectic.

The adsorption of helium by graphite, active carbon, carbon black, cokes, coals, and other carbonaceous solids has been studied at temperatures from 77 to 560'K. Adsorption at 298ยฐK depends markedly on the nature of the material, and in general increases with increasing internal surface area and inc

The X-ray technique has been applied in adsorption of X-ray-contrast substances for analysis of the nature of mass transfer in carbonaceous microporous adsorbents. The paper described the results of experimental study into the kinetics of adsorption of vapors of n-pentane by rink chloride active car
