## Abstract The crystal structure of __1‐hydroxy‐2,4,5‐triphenyl‐1__H__‐imidazole 3‐oxide__ (**1**) has been determined from laboratory X‐ray powder‐diffraction data. The two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit form chains __via__ OH⋅⋅⋅O hydrogen bonds related by a twofold screw axis. One

✦ Synopsis
The synthesis of bicyclic 6-hydroxy-6,8,8-dimethyl-5-aza-1-azonia-bicyclo[3.3.0]octa-1,3-diene chloride, [C 6 H 5 Me 3 N 2 (OH)]Cl, (5) by the HCl-catalyzed 1,4-cycloaddition of pyrazole (1) with mesityl oxide (4) is described. A proposed mechanism for the formation of 5 will be given.

## Abstract The preparation of a family of dinuclear monocyclopentadienyl imidoniobium and ‐tantalum complexes was achieved by two different synthetic routes. The diimido complexes [{M(Cp′)Cl~2~}~2~(μ‐1,__i__‐NC~6~H~4~N)] [Cp′ = η^5^‐C~5~H~4~SiMe~3~, M = Nb, __i__ = 4 (1); Cp′ = η^5^‐C~5~H~4~SiMe~3
