## Abstract The ^13^CโNMR spectra of four cyclopeptide alkaloids, namely zizyphineโA (**2**), amphibineโD (**3**), amphibineโE (**4**), and zizyphineโD (**5**), have been studied. Conclusions have been drawn concerning the conjugation in the alkoxystyrylamine unit present in these compounds.
## Abstract The ^13^C NMR chemical shifts of 39 trimethylsilylated secondary steroid alcohols are presented. The compounds include both 5ฮฑโ and 5ฮฒโsteroid skeletons and the trimethylsiloxy groups are attached at various positions both in ฮฑโ and ฮฒโconfigurations.
13C NMR signals were assigned for a series of C-6 rnethylated steroids related to 5 acholestane, and the substituent effect of methyl groups at C-6 on the shielding data is discussed.
