## Abstract The ^13^C NMR spectral data of 18 eudesmane derivatives, mainly acids and esters of natural and synthetic origin, are reported, and the γ‐effect of the epoxide ring in two diastereoisomeric epoxy esters is discussed.

✦ Synopsis
The 13C NMR spectra of sixteen 2-amino-4H-pyran derivatives, consisting of seven 3-cyano, two 5-cyano and seven 35dicyano derivatives, are reported. For the purposes of comparison, 13C NMR data for 2,6-dimethyl-3,5-dicyano-4-phenyl-4H-pyran are also given R= CN CN CN CN

The carbon-13 chemical shifts of mono-and 1,3-disubstituted adamantanes are reported. The effects caused by the substituents are compared with those met in aliphatic and alicyclic compounds. It is shown that the 1,4-interactions have only minor importance in 1-substituted adamantanes. The influence
13C chemical shifts and ,'P,13C coupling constants are reported for 20 aminoalkylphosphonic acids and two phosphonic acids. The substituent-induced chemical shifts of the phosphonate group were calculated and their non-additivity in 1 -aminoalkylphosphonic acids was observed. Two stable conformers o
