Abstract

A series of neutral cis‐[ML~2~] complexes, where M = Pd(II) and Pt(II) and L = para‐substituted N,N‐dialkyl‐N′‐benzoyl‐thio‐urea anion, were examined by means of ^13^C and ^195^Pt NMR. Unambiguous assignment of the thiocarbonyl carbon atom in these complexes was achieved with ^13^C isotopic enrichment and the resolved ^n^J(^195^Pt, ^13^C) coupling satellites.
