✦ Synopsis

New examples of Diels-Alder reactions involving 1,3-disubstituted 1,3-dienylboronates are reported. Various dienophiles were tested. With methyl acrylate as the dienophile, lower reaction temperature, shorter reaction time and better stereocontrol have been reached with the use of a steochiometric amount of Lewis acid EtAICI 2.
