✦ Synopsis

The title compound, C~9~H~12~N~2~, crystallizes with two almost identical molecules in the asymmetric unit. The ring containing the N atom in the tetrahydroquinoline system adopts a half-chair conformation. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular N—H...N and N—H...π hydrogen bonds.
