We wish to report the synthesis of a new cyclobutadiene 1,2-di-$_-butyl-5,4-diphenylcyclobutadiene palladium chloride complex, i.e. complex, by the reaction of &butylphenylacetylene with dichlorobis(benzonitrile)palladium.
