062 CAD.Based Expert
System for Robotic Welding T. Kangmnsnts Z.H. Wang, pp 303.306 Thh paper describes an •pproach used in the development of a low-cost CAD-breed expert system for robotic welding, The work has been implemented in AutoCAD. The proposed system is capable of recummending appropriate weldin~ parameters for GMAW prouesses. A number of welding experiments have been carried out with • six-axis industrial robot to obtain the necessary data for the construction uf the welding database. By integrating the above expert system with the CAD-to-robot interface software operating in the same CAD environment, a truly flexible robotic welding system has been achieved. 063 Control Synthesis of Flexible Manufacturing Systems Modeled by a Class of Controlled Timed Petri Nets J.
