✦ Synopsis
09 Combustion (bumers, combustion systems) diffusion error is smaller than that of the calculation based on Cartesian coordinate, and the prediction of combustion parameters is reasonably close to realistic ones.
04•01979 Deactivation of postcombustion catalysts, a review
Neyestanaki, A. K. et al. Fuel, 2004, 83, (4-5), 395 408. Deactivation of post-combustion emission control catalysts is discussed with the main focus on supported platinum and palladium catalysts. Sintering due to accidental temperature rise results in support and metal sintering worsening the catalyst performance. The impact of support material and metal precursor on sintering is elucidated. Poisoning by sulfur, phosphorous and metals diminishes catalyst activity. Measures for preventing catalyst deactivation are discussed.
