The manufacturing of high strength carbonaceous materials is discussed. The process involves the fillers and binders being kneaded with heating, mixed with coal tar, kneaded again with heating, crushed, formed, fired and then graphitized. Non-cracking materials can be manufactured without the impregnation of tar pitch. 00/02502
