Briquetting machines used in the manufacture of briquettes and stoves are discussed. The process includes compression of coal powder. A feeder feeds the powdered coal between rotary rolls, an adjustable plate can be altered by the bite amount of powder between the rolls along the axial direction of the roll.

Frjun&y Eng., 1998, 24, (3). 159~~168 Presented is a formula, suitable for calculating the height of a combustion zone in a coke-fired cupola, when the coke charges are composed of fractions, varying in shape and dimensions. There is a random system for the burning of the different diameter coke pieces and bulk density is used to define the density of their arrangement.
